Bio-Ölwerk Magdeburg produces biodiesel made of rape seed and vegetable oil in the complete process chain. Almost no waste material is generated when producing biodiesel. All by-products are channeled back into the market. Important by-products are colza cake, a high-value protein supplier in the compound feeding stuff industry, and glycerine, essential raw material for the pharmaceutical and cosmetics industries.
