The daughter company of SATTLER AG, “CENO TEC”, obtained a project for covering the arena of the football club Schalke 04 in Gelsenkirchen Germany. The roof is a multifunctional construction which can be fully closed. Because of damage caused by high snow loads, the old roof (not made by SATTLER) has to be removed and replaced. The overall size of the membrane will be 32.420 square meters and the project costs are estimated to be 13 million EURO.
The replacement will start in May 2011 and takes place in four construction stages, which ending in 2012.
