Can you imagine a single day without electricity, water or telephone? Or an environment without any traffic? The degree programme of Urban Technologies deals with infrastructure related issues which will play an important role in the future. Our graduates are highly sought after, because their degree meaningfully combines technology and economics. Whether you want to control traffic in Salzburg or a wind energy plant in India, whether you want to deal with power in Germany or expand the district heating grid of Kapfenberg, whether you want to manage a waste recycling plant in Hungary or be in charge of a mobile phone network is all up to you. However one thing is for sure: If you are ready to take on responsibility and to fully commit yourself to your job, you can look forward to a successful, rewarding and challenging career. The Diploma degree programme will start as Bachelor degree programme Energy, Transport and Environmental Management in the winter semester 2008/2009. The degree programme “Urban Technologies” was founded in 1998 and owns a research and development department in the fields of "Energy Systems and Environment" as well as "Intelligent Traffic systems". A long experience in energy and environmental related projects enables a comprehensive know-how in these subjects. Therefore “Urban Technologies” is THE contact for any kind of energy and environment projects.
