GHE (Global Hydro Energy), specialising in small hydroelectric power plant technology, has two new proprietors. FiAG and EOS Invest AG, both finance corporationsfor medium-size businesses owned by the Styrian entrepreneurs Dr. Gilbert Frizberg (FiAG) and Dr. Ernst Wustinger (EOS Invest AG), have taken over around 90 % of the company.
Global Hydro Energy is a successful full-range supplier of small hydroelectric power plant worldwide. The export rate is more than 90%. The company has more than 50 employees and achieved an increase in sales of around 11 million euro in 2007. EOS Invest AG is a finance corporation for small businesses owned by the Styrian entrepreneur Dr. Ernst Wustinger. The investment portfolio currently includes companies such as the automotive supplier Carbotech in Salzburg and the company Platingtech based in Upper Styria. As a finance corporation for medium-size businesses, FiAG is involved mainly in the field of engineering, energy and environmental technology companies. The business is part of the investment portfolio of the Frizberg family.
