The international technology group Andritz and GE Energy (GE) have signed an agreement on the acquisition of GE’s majority holding in Joint Venture GEHI (General Electric Hydro Inepar) by Andritz.
GEHI has marketing, engineering and project management resources in Campinas, Brazil, Tampere, Finland and Kristinehamm, Sweden with a total of around 200 employees. In addition GHI is equipped with a hydro test laboratory and a production plant in Tampere, Finland, a production plant in Araraquara, Brazil, and has access to major production capacities of the Brazilian Joint Venture-Partners Inepar.
