The plant system is installed in two 20“ container and ready for operation on site within a week, incl. a complete tank system and analysis devices along with automatic sample takers. The plant design: 50 m³/d or 1,450 m³/y, availability 90%. The leachate design data: COD 7,020 mg/l and BOD 34,000 mg/l. The permeate meets the quality for discharge to a river.
The plant is designed for a full automatic operation and is installed on a frame structure with 24 RCDT XL modules at the leachate stage and 4 RCDT XL modules at the permeate stage. No pre-treatment is necessary due to the unique RCDT technology, a factor that has significantly minimised the investment costs compared with alternative process solutions.
RCDT modular technology is in operation at over 200 landfill sites worldwide. Landfill leachate purification is the most challenging task in the waste water treatment and ROTREAT provides the operators responsible for landfill sites with a reliable and safe technology using reverse osmosis with DT modules.
